This week we begin our new series on worship called On Earth As It Is In Heaven.
In this sermon, Whose Worship Is it Anyway, Rev. Christian Dove surveys five scriptural accounts and their lessons on the fundamental principles God has revealed to His people on worship.
1. The Instruction of the Samaritan Woman
Principle: God Demands Our Worship to be in Spirit and Truth.
2. The Offering of Cain & Abel
Principle: There is an Acceptable and Unacceptable Manner of Worship. God Demands our Best Worship—in Heart & Deed.
3. The Strange Fire of Nadab & Abihu
Principle: God Demands that we Revere Him as Holy and take His Worship seriously. We must worship reverently.
4. The Hasty Sacrifice of Saul
Principle: God Demands that we Trust Him in our Worship.
5. The Communion of the Corinthian Church
Principle: God Demands that we are Christ-Mediated, Discerning, and Faith-filled in our Worship.
